Discounts
We offer a 5% discount for 12 months paid in advance.
Contract & Invoicing Terms
The storage unit will be charged at a net monthly rate. Hire charges will be paid for on the basis of one month in advance of each monthly hire period.
We require a seven-day notice before rental termination. If you pay a month in advance and decide to terminate early, you will be refunded the month minus the final week.
We accept payments by Cash, Cheque, Standing Order, Credit Card or via our Electronic Invoice by clicking on the “Pay Now” button.
Deposits
We are now taking a full month’s hire rental as a security deposit on all our stores being hired. You will get the security deposit back at the end of your hire period, providing that the unit has been left in an acceptable condition. This is decided by one of the Hunts Ltd staff upon inspection.
We also take deposits for customers who wish to hire a store but are not yet ready to begin using it. We ask for half a month’s hire rental. In this situation and this will hold the unit for up to a month. We can be flexible with how long the unit is reserved for if negotiated.
Padlocks
Grade 1 Units require a Shutter Padlock with a straight shackle, the shackle-pin and key must be on the same end of the padlock.
You can buy a suitable padlock from Hunts Ltd for £43 including VAT.
Some Grade 2 Units have a key that fits the integral lock in the door, others need a padlock of any type.
Please verify with Reception before buying padlocks to ensure compatibility.
